Do Actors Need Managers?
Do Actors Need a Manager?
Where the actor is living can be a major factor if he or she
needs a manager. If you are living in a small market, outside
of L.A., N.Y., Chicago or Atlanta, then you might not need
a manager.
Where you are at in your career is also a factor. If you are just
beginning and plan to move to a large market, having a manager
can be extremely helpful. The manager will help connect you
with the right acting classes, headshot photographers, carefully
go over your resume and help get you signed with an agent.
Do You Have a Manager?
Do you have a manager? What exactly has the
manager done for you that an agent hasn’t done?
Is having the manager helpful to your career? If so, how?
