Four Ways to Prepare Before Your Audition
I recently had the opportunity to audition for a pilot.
I spent about 3 hours preparing for my home audition.
There is no 1 way to prepare for an audition, so I want
to share 4 things I did that helped me prepare and give a read
that I was very happy with.

• What to do once you received your audition sides
• Step into the waiting area – now what you should do
• Special techniques to use during your audition
• 3 things you need to do during an audition

Great Way to Hold Your Sides During an Audition
Just to make sure you know, the sides is the short portion of the script
actors read during their audition. Some people make a huge mistake
and hold the sides down in front of them.
Watch this video and learn a great way to hold your sides during your read.
If you have some ways to prepare before your audition, please
share them below so others can learn from you.
