2 Tips to Making a Great Acting Resume

No one is born into this world with a great resume.

If you are just getting started, or if you have not
had the opportunities to book impressive projects,
here are 2 important things you can do to make
your resume more attractive to industry insiders.

Don’t Lie on Your Resume

That seems like a silly statement, but there are actors
who pad their resume with plays or even film/TV
projects they never worked on. They think no one
will find out that they lied.

Don’t do this. It is not good to run your acting
or modeling business based on lies. And, people
can find out that you are not honest. Once that
happens, people will not want to work with you.

Add Your Head Shot to Your Resume

It is a smart idea and a great marketing strategy to
to have people see your face as many times as possible.

If you include your head shot (the same photo that is on the
other side of the page or a different looking head shot) to
the upper right hand corner of your resume, people will
be able to see your face again.

This is a good way to continue to have your image
branded into their brain as they view your resume.
