Some people (very few) are born with innate acting skills. I have found that to be the exception to the rule. Most of the successful actors you see in film and TV and work regularly have studied acting for many years.
The really tough decision is whether you will be best served by becoming a
theater major at a college or university, attend an acting conservatory
or perhaps it be best to find a great local teacher or class, to help you learn the needed acting
skills.
