There is 1 absolutely crazy demand that SAG-AFTRA is fighting during the strike negotiations. You won’t believe this.

1 Of The Absolutely Crazy Demands

1 of the absolutely crazy demands that SAG-AFTRA is fighting has to do with producers wanting to be able to scan and use an extras face in perpetuity. SAG-AFTRA is fighting against film and TV producers to be able to scan an extra’s face, pay them a day’s pay (which is less than $200) and be able to use their image forever.

My Last Union Strike

My last Union strike was back in 2000. We were on strike for TV commercials. That strike lasted
6 months. Really hoping the current strike will get resolved in a much shorter time.
