Do Models Have to Slate At A Go-See

August 20, 2013 0 Comments

From Amy, Florida:
I have been called to attend a go-see. This will be my first. Do they ask the model to slate their name during the go-see?

Sometimes there is a slate, but not a spoken slate. At some go-sees the model is asked to hold a sheet of paper (horizontally) just below our chin that has our name on the paper. That clearly identifies who we are. Then a few photos will be taken during the go-see. No sound is recorded like at an audition.
