[AUDITION ALERTS] – THEATER – THE 39 STEPS NEW YORK

Broadway’s popular comedy, The 39 Steps, is coming back to New York City, but
this time, a ridiculously talented cast of 4 will be using American Sign
Language (ASL) on stage!

* Seeking 4 ASL actors and 4 voice actors
**ASL Actors must be fluent in American Sign Language.
**Voice Actors must have skills of verbal ability. Proficiency in American Sign
Language is preferred but not required.

Cast List:
Richard Hannay (Male; age 25+): The heroic leading man; charming, innocent, and
funny. Must have great comedic timing. Canadian/British accent.

Annabelle Schmidt/Pamela/Margaret (Female; age range 25 – 40): Must be able to
perform multiple-roles. German, British, and Scottish accents.

Clown #1 & #2: (Male or Female; age range 20 – 50): This role requires skills of
physical and ASL/verbal comedic ability. Must be able to provide multiple
dialects.

Rehearsal begin in the end of August
Performance will be at Tada! Youth Theatre, 15 W 28th Street
PERFORMANCE DATE: November 7th – 9th & 13th – 16th, 730pm; November 9th, 10th,
16th, and 17th, 230pm
