Call for Actors: Miracle on 34th Street
Attention all actors: Want to take part in the spirit of Christmas? The Rhode Island Stage Ensemble is holding auditions for their production of Miracle on 34th Street. We are looking for a collection of over 40 characters including someone to play Kris Kringle himself! This magical play will be full of fun, excitement and wonderment. Ages 10 to 80 may apply! So come show us the joy you can bring to our production!
Auditions are Tuesday September 3rd and Wednesday September 4th from 6:30pm to 9pm at our production center at 172A Chapel St in Harrisville, RI. Auditions are by appointment only, so please contact us immediately to book your audition slot. Please be on time, bring your resume, headshot (or picture of yourself) and a prepared 60 second or less monologue to show us what you have got. You may also be asked to read some sides after your initial audition. Call backs will be held on Monday September 9th at 6:30pm. The show goes up December 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th & 15th at the Assembly Theatre in Burrillville, RI. Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons as well as Monday and Wednesday nights and begin on September 11th. This is an unpaid and non-union production.
