ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC.

All actors are signs as Actor/ASMs. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carried reasonably by two members of the company.

ALL CHARACTERS MUST SING! This is a musical based on popular children’s’ book series.. All MUST be versatile with comedic flair. Also must be able to carry tight harmonies.

All actors must look young, and have excellent comic timing.

SEEKING:
Mudge: (18+ male, Baritone). Henry’s 182-pound dog, a small dog trapped in a big dog’s body. Must move well and be comfortable with physical comedy. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.

Mom: (18+ female, Strong pop belt to a C). Henry’s mom. She is practical and kind. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.

Dad: (18+ male, Strong pop belt to a G) Henry’s dad. He sees the world with a twinkle in his eye. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.

Annie: (18+ female, Mix/belt to an E, to play a girl about six years old). Henry’s cousin. She is very high-energy and easily distracted. She is very smart but often unfocused. No taller than 5’3″Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.

Henry: (18+, male, High Tenor with pop belt, to play a boy about 10 years old) An only child, he goes from always having his own way to learning how play well with others. Must move well. Actors of all ethnicities encouraged to submit.
